A-132-3 Dual linear/exponential

Das Modul A-132-3 besteht aus zwei identischen spannungsgesteuerten Verstärkern (VCA). Jeder VCA hat einen Regler für die manuelle Einstellung der Grund-Verstärkung (Initial Gain) und einen Steuerspannungseingang mit Abschwächer. Die Steuerkennlinie jedes der beiden VCAs kann zwischen linear und exponentiell gewählt werden. Alle Ein- und Ausgänge sind gleichspannungsgekoppelt. Daher kann das Modul auch zur Bearbeitung von Steuersignalen verwendet werden (z.B. um eine steuerbare Amplitude von LFOs oder Hüllkurven zu erhalten). Der Signal-Eingang besitzt keinen Abschwächer, das Modul kann aber Signale bis ca. 15Vss (d.h. von ca. -7.5V bis ca. + 7.5V) verzerrungsfrei verarbeiten. Für Signale mit einem höheren Pegel kann ein externer Abschwächer vorgeschaltet werden (z.B. A-183-1). Da der im Modul verwendete Spezial-IC CEM3360 nicht mehr erhältlich ist, müssen wir die Produktion dieses Moduls leider einstellen. Verkauf solange Vorrat reicht ! Aktueller Stand Juli 2010: Wegen des großen Interesses an der Weiterführung des Moduls wird dieses überarbeitet und mit einem aktuell lieferbaren VCA-Baustein (SSM2164) ausgestattet. Das ist der gleiche Baustein, der auch schon im A-132-4 zum Einsatz kommt. |

Module A-132-3 is composed of two identical voltage controlled amplifiers (VCA). Each VCA has a manual gain control and a control voltage input with attenuator. The character of the control scale can be switched to linear or exponential. All inputs and outputs are DC coupled. Consequently the VCAs can be used to process both audio and control voltages. The input has no attenuator available but is capable to process up to 16Vss signals (i.e. -8V...+8V) without distortion. As the special circuit CEM3360 used in this module is no longer available the module has to be discontinued. Sale while stocks last ! As of July 2010: Because of the many requests we are about to redesign the module with the same features but without CEM3360. Instead of the CEM3360 an SSM2164 will be used. That's the same circuit that is already used in module A-132-4.
