A-174-2 ist ein Modul mit zwei Modulationsrädern. Ab Werk wird das linke Rad rückstellend ausgeführt mit bipolarem Spannungsausgang (d.h. bei Mittelstellung = 0V, bei Bewegung nach oben positive Spannung, bei Bewegung nach unten negative Spannung, Spannungsbereich ca. -5,5 V...0...+ 5,5 V), das rechte Rad nicht-rückstellend mit rein positivem Spannungsausgang (d.h. bei unterem Anschlag = 0V, bei Bewegung nach oben positive Spannung, Spannungsbereich ca. 0...+8 V). Bei dem rückstellenden Rad ist um den Nullpunkt ein "Plateau" vorhanden, so dass in einem kleinen Bereich um in Mittelstellung immer sicher 0 V ausgegeben werden.
Mit Hilfe von Jumpern können diese Voreinstellung geändert werden, da für jedes der beiden Räder zwei Jumper vorhanden sind. Der erste Jumper legt fest, ob die ausgegebene Spannung rein positiv oder bipolar ist. Der zweite Jumper legt fest, ob ein Spannungsplateu rund um 0 V vorhanden ist. Beispielsweise können beide Räder nicht rückstellend mit rein positivem Spannungsbereich ausgeführt werden oder beide Räder rückstellend mit bipolarem Spannungsbereich. Hierbei muss aber auch das betreffende Rad mechanisch neu justiert werden. Daher sollten diese Änderungen nur von einem Fachmann ausgeführt werden. Auf Wunsch kann das Modul auch ab Werk mit zwei nicht-rückstellenden Rädern und positivem Spanungsbereich oder mit zwei rückstellenden Rädern mit bipolaren Spannungsbereich geliefert werden (Aufpreis jeweils 10,00 Euro pro Änderung eines Rades).

Wichtiger Hinweis zum Einbau des Moduls: Da das Potentiometer des linken Rades ca. 10 mm über den Rand der Frontplatte hinaus ragt, muss links vom A-174-2 mindestens eine 2 oder 4 TE Blindplatte oder ein Modul mit genügend Platz in diesem Bereich montiert werden!
A-174-2 is a modulation wheel module with two wheels. The factory setting is a spring loaded wheel at the left side with bipolar voltage output (i.e. 0V in center position, positive voltage in the upper range, negative voltage in the lower range, voltage range about -5.5 V ... 0V ... +5.5 V) and a wheel without spring at the right side with positive voltage output (i.e. 0V in the lowest position and positive voltage when operated, voltage range about 0...+8 V). For the spring loaded wheel a voltage "plateau" around 0 V is preset (jumper) so that the output voltage is 0 V in a small area near the center position.
By means of jumpers the factory settings can be changed. For each wheel two jumpers are available: one for the voltage range (positive or bipolar) and one for the voltage plateau around 0 V. If these settings are changed even the wheels have to be re-adjusted mechanically. Therefore such modifications should be carried out by a qualified person only. By request the module is available from the factory even with two wheels both with or without springs (additional charges Euro 10.00 for each change).

Important note for module mounting: As the potentiometer of the left wheel projects about 10 mm the rim of the front panel a 2 or 4 HP blind panel has to be mounted left from the module - unless the module left to the A-174-2 has sufficient space in this area.
