A-180-1 / A-180-2 Multiples 1

Das Modul A-180 ist ein einfacher, passiver Mehrfachverteiler. Es enthält acht miteinander verbundene Buchsen, so daß Sie den Eingang oder Ausgang eines Moduls "vervielfältigen" können. Die Buchsen sind auftrennbar in zwei Gruppen (Lötbrücke auf Bestückungsseite) mit jeweils vier verbundenen Buchsen. Obwohl es sich um ein sehr "primitives" Modul handelt, wird es jedoch sehr häufig benötigt. In einem größeren A-100-System sollten immer auch ausreichend Multiples vorgesehen werden.

Änderung ab Dezember 2003: Auf Anregung vieler A-100-Benutzer werden die A-180-Module ab Dezember 2003 als 2x4 Multiple ausgeliefert, da diese Variante häufiger benötigt wird als ein 8-fach-Multiple. Falls ein 8-fach-Multiple gewünscht wird, muss auf der Platine eine Lötbrücke gesetzt werden.

Die unbedruckte Frontplatte des A-180 ist auch einzeln als Ersatzteil lieferbar (z.B. zum Eigenbau von Modulen oder als Anschlusseinheit für andere Module).

Für Anfang 2013 ist unter der Bezeichnung A-180-2 eine schmale Version dieses Moduls geplant. Auf Grund der nur 2 TE breiten Frontplatte kann die Leiterplatte nicht mehr mit Hilfe der Buchsen-Muttern an der Frontplatte befestigt werden. Stattdessen wird die Leiterplatte mit Schrauben und Abstandsbolzen an der Frontplatte montiert.

Module A-180 is a simple multi-connector. It has eight inter-connected sockets, so that you can patch more inputs or outputs into any module. The sockets can be split into two groups of four by disconnecting an internal solder bridge. Even though the A-180 is a very "primitive" low-level module it is required very often. Within a big A-100 system sufficient multiples should be planned.

Modification from December 2003: At the suggestion of many A-100 users the modules are delivered as two four-fold multiples as this version is more often needed as an 8-fold multiple. If an 8-fold multiple is required a bridge has to be soldered at the pc board.

The A-180 front panel without printing is available as a spare part. It can be used e.g. for DIY modules or as a connection unit for other modules.

For early in 2013 a small version of this module is planned. Because of the only 2 HP width nuts cannot be used to mount the pc board by means of the socket nuts at the front panel. Instead of that the pc board is mounted by screws and spacers at the front panel.
