Das Modul A-151 (Quad Sequential Switch) ist ein elektronischer,
4-stufiger Drehschalter (engl. sequential switch).
Es besitzt einen Trigger-Eingang, einen Reset-Eingang, vier Ein-/Aus-gänge und einen
gemeinsamen Aus-/Eingang. Es
können Spannungen im Bereich von -8V ... +8V an den I/O bzw. O/I-Anschlüssen
verarbeitet werden. Das Modul arbeitet - wie der Dual-VCS A-150 - bidirektional, d.h. Ein- und
Ausgänge sind vertauschbar. Mit jedem Impuls am Trigger-Eingang wird der
gemeinsame Aus-/Eingang zum nächsten Ein-/Ausgang weitergeschaltet. Nach der
Verbindung mit dem vierten Ein-/Ausgang wird der gemeinsame Aus-/Eingang beim
nächsten Trigger-Impuls wieder zum ersten Ein-/Ausgang geschaltet (s.Abb. 1).
Ein positiver Impuls am Reset-Eingang schaltet den gemeinsamen
Aus-/Eingang zum ersten Ein-/Ausgang durch.
Vier LED's zeigen den aktiven (d.h. den zum
gemeinsamen Aus-/Eingang durchgeschalteten) Ein-/Ausgang an.
Seit Frühjahr 2005 wird das Modul in einer
überarbeiteten Version ausgeliefert: Es ist ein zusätzlicher Schalter vorhanden,
mit dem die Anzahl der Stufen auf 4, 3 oder 2 begrenzt werden kann (danke an
Peter Grenader für diesen Tip). Ausserdem ist das überarbeitete Modul in der
Lage Spannungen im vollen A-100-Spannungsbereich -12...+12V zu schalten (nicht
nur -8...+8V wie bei der Version 1). Solange der Vorrat reicht kann bei dem
Modul zwischen Version 1 und 2 gewählt werden. Die Version 1 wird künftig
nicht mehr produziert.

Module A-151 (Quad Sequential Switch) is like an
electronic four-position rotary switch.
It includes trigger and reset inputs, four in /
outputs, and a common out / input. Each time a pulse is received at
the trigger input socket, the common out / input is connected to the next in /
output. After the fourth in / output, the next trigger makes it step back to the
first again, and so on. A positive pulse at the reset input switches the
out / input immediately back to the first in / output (see Fig. 1). Voltages in
the range -8V...+8V at the O/I resp. I/O sockets can be processed by the module.
Four LEDs indicate the active in / output (ie.
the on that is connected to the out / input at any particular time).
From spring 2005 a revised version of
the module is available. With an additional switch the number of steps can be
set to 2, 3 or 4 (thanks to Peter Grenader for this idea). Moreover the revised
module allows to process voltages in the full A-100 voltage range (i.e.
-12V...+12V). The limitation to -8V...+8V is no longer valid. While stocks last
the user can choose between version 1 and 2. Version 1 will be no longer
manufactured in the future.
