Das Modul A-190-2 ist eine preiswerte Alternative zum MIDI-CV/SYNC-Interface A-190-1 und kann immer dann eingesetzt werden, wenn die weitergehenden Eigenschaften des A-190 nicht benötigt werden (wie z.B. Clock-Ausgang, Start/Stop-Ausgang). A-190-2 ist die Modulversion des bewährten MCV4, wobei einige kleinere Änderungen speziell zur Anpassung an das A-100 vorgenommen wurden (z.B. fünf getrennte Mini-Klinkenbuchsen, separater null-symmetrischer CV-Ausgang für Pitch-Bend um die Pitchbendweite z.B. unter Verwendung des Präzisions-CV-Addierers A-185-2 einstellen zu können, Portamento-Funktion). Mit Hilfe von 2 Jumpern (Steckbrücken) können CV1 und Gate mit den entsprechenden Leitungen des A-100-Busses verbunden werden. Auf diese Weise können die VCOs A-110 oder A-111 und der Hüllkurven-Generator A-140 direkt über den Bus gesteuert werden, ohne dass CV und Gate an der Frontseite gepatcht werden müssen. CV1 ist gepuffert, so dass auch mehrere VCOs ohne Zwischenschaltung eines Buspuffers (z.B. A-185-1, A-185-2) problemlos angesteuert werden können. Modul A-190-2 is an economically priced alternative to the MIDI-CV/SYNC interface A-190-1. It can be used in all cases where the additional features of the A-190-1 are not required (e.g. clock output, start/stop output). A-190-2 is the modular version of the established MCV4. Only some minor changes were made for a better adaption to the A-100 system, e.g. five 3.5 mm sockets, zero-symmetrical CV for pitch bend to be able to adjust the pitch bend range e.g. in combination with the precision CV adder A-185-2, glide function. These are the most important features of the A-190-2:
By means of two jumpers CV1 and Gate can be connected to the corresponding lines of the A-100 bus. That way the VCOs A-110 or A-111 and the envelope generator A-140 can be controlled directly via the A-100 bus, i.e. it's not necessary to patch CV and Gate with cables between the front panels. In addition CV1 is buffered, i.e. even several VCOs can be controlled by the A-190-2 without the need of an additional bus buffer (e.g. A-185-1 or A-185-2).
